We've compiled a list of useful online resources to help support young people.

Thrive Inside with Smiling Mind

Smiling Mind is not-for-profit organisation providing training and support to develop the skills of Mindfulness. Training and resources are available for school-aged students, workplaces, professionals and individuals. A free app developed by psychologists and educators is also available and provides self-help tips and support.

Supporting Family Conversations

Supporting Family Conversations: aims to support conversations between parents and their Year 7 children about alcohol and cybersafety, and ultimately to reduce the risk of harm to teenagers from alcohol use and in the online environment."

Reachout

Reachout is an online mental health organisation for young people and their parents. The website includes: explainers, tips on common problems, online forums and structured ‘online classroom’ activities to help teenagers, parents and schools manage common issues such as loneliness.

School TV

Guidance on raising healthy and resilient young people. SchoolTV has developed online resource for parents with credible information and practical support strategies.

An Australian Government initiative led by Beyond Blue which aims to support infants, children and young people to achieve their possible mental health. Free registration.
